We've been to Haidilao so many times and each time is *chef's kiss*. The food is great quality and service is always top notch. They go all out for birthdays and even provide complimentary kid's meals/toys. There's also "secret words" that can get you free food or goodies (try googling it!). We love Haidilao so much that we went to their locations in Hong Kong and Xi'An when we were traveling earlier this year LOL. Some locations have nail salon services while you wait (although I didn't get to do it) and I've heard that other places also have games. The lines can be long during peak day/times so I'd recommend making a reservation if you have a large party!

Even before you enter, you are greeted (hustled) to step on the conveyer belt that is the modus operandi of this restaurant. There's nothing wrong with this if you are already familiar with the restaurant, the food, the nature of the food and choices to be made. If not already familiar with it, then ask for a waitperson who can patiently explain the format and the food. We got one, and all went well afterwards. The food is fresh and varied and delicious. And abundant. Too abundant, to the point where I wish I had ordered a la carte instead of an all-included meal. But that was not on the conveyer belt style of taking orders. The next time I come (yes, I will certainly return), I will not get swept up into the robotic pace (yes, there are robots delivering the food), rather, I will carefully select items of my choosing from their delicious offerings. I recommend the fragrant mushroom broth. Greens were plentiful and flavorful.

Service was excellent and easily 5/5. Food was decent and price on a high side. It's suitable for family, small group of 4-6, but maybe not for singles. It's causal.

Waitlist/reservation on website is nice, although it is hard to navigate to. Upon arriving, there is an employee checking in people with an iPad with snacks that you can grab. We went on a Saturday evening - not sure if it was just the day we went but there were a lot of birthday celebrations (little kids) going on around us which made it very noisy, but everyone was having a great time. Just be advised in case you prefer a quieter restaurant! As for the food itself, we went with the most affordable meats and some veggies. All of the dishes were good but nothing amazing (I'm sure the wagyu/expensive meat options are better). However, our bill for three people already ended up being $160 and we got around 4 plates of meat and 3 veggies (some half orders). One of the broths we got (golden something) did not have much taste but the spicy pork one was much better. I wouldn't come back to Haidilao as the high price wasn't quite justified. I'd rather go to Mumu Hotpot or Zhangliang for a quieter/better ambiance and more value for how much you pay. Haidilao is nice to try once, or if you'd like to have a birthday celebration for younger kids as they have the noodle dance.

Haidilao was packed on a Friday night and even had people waiting outside, so I highly recommend making a reservation if you can. The service was amazing; the waiters were highly attentive and always stopped by to make sure we were good and everything was to our liking. Everything can be ordered through the iPad they provide. I knew from friends and social media that Haidilao provides bibs to wear while eating, which I appreciated, but I wasn't aware that they also provided complimentary hair ties, wet wipes, and chips. This really secured my opinion that this restaurant was one of the best in service. The food was great and high quality, and the options are typical of most hot pot restaurants. I will say that their portions - including the side dishes - come with a lot of food so the price is worth what you get. Overall, I would definitely come back!!

This is located in the Pacific Commons area which can get packed but there are plenty of parking spots available. It was raining the day of, so hotpot was the perfect thing to eat! It does get busy during lunch and dinner hours as my friends and I had to wait a bit. Inside is pretty spacious and can be loud but not too bad. We chose different broth flavors to accommodate everyone's choices which is helpful to have four different sections for broths. You have a choice to order items of your choice. Service was fast with the items too! There is also a food bar inside the restaurant where you can get sauce, side dishes, fruits, and ice cream. My favorite broth would have to be the tomato and the classic spicy. It can get a bit pricey in the end since it is not AYCE.

Finally, I got to try this Haidilao in Fremont. I've been to their Cupertino location. Parking is easy as there us a large parking lot because they are located in an extended plaza. It's always a fun experience eating hot pot with family and friends, especially celebrating two birthdays. The broths we chose were the Mushroom broth, Spicy broth, Pork Bone Broth, and Pork Stomach Broth. A good selection of meats, vegetables, and tofu items. *Kobe Beef Belly, *Angus chuck flap, *Australian Lamb shoulder, *Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin - all were good, like all cooked meats in hot pot. *USDA Prime Ribeye - very tender. *Beef Balls - standard fare in vietnamese pho. *Masago Fish Balls - careful of how hot the inside gets. *Fortune Gold Bag - we didn't have enough for everybody. *Fish curd - I didn't try any. *Konjac Noodles - this was good. *Assorted mushroom combo *Mixed vegetable platter *Bamboo shoots - I thought it was pretty tasty. *Second bean curd sheets - unfortunately, I didn't get one. *Yam noodles - ? *Fish tofu - standard, good. *Haidilao Signature Black Tripe - Cook 15 secs only. I'm glad we tried this. Lee was our server, and he was excellent! Great customer service, and he really took care of us and made it a nice dining experience! Nice, modern decor. I'm not sure about accommodating large parties or large groups of people. We had a party of 8, and that was cramped already with the plates, etc. You will need to call them if larger than that. I mean, definitely call for reservations.

Haidilao in Fremont is my goto hot pot spot, especially when they have their Lunch special which included 1 soup base, 1 protein, 1 rice/noodle, and 1 veggie platter. Unfortunately they change their special every so often in which it didn't include the sauce bar so we had to pay extra for that but worth it still imo. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, with a wide variety of fresh meats, seafood, vegetables, and homemade noodles to choose from. The broth options are flavorful and customizable, catering to all taste preferences from mild to spicy. One of the standout features is their extensive dipping sauce bar, allowing you to create your perfect sauce mix. My goto is ponzu, garlic, green onion, cilantro, chili oil, sesame oil, and beef paste What truly sets Haidilao apart is their attention to detail and customer service. From complimentary snacks and drinks in the waiting area to their bathroom amenities that had items like hair spray, lotion and mouthwash. Every aspect of the experience is designed to make your visit memorable. Overall, Haidilao Hot Pot delivers an unparalleled dining experience that combines delicious food, excellent service, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal with friends and family. Can't for get about the free ice cream to end a great meal :)
